When visiting the ITSFAC for meetings or training, business casual attire is
always appropriate, as is the seasonal Uniform of the Day. In order to maintain
standards of professional appearance, we request that our visitors and guest
also bear in mind the following;
- Business attire does not require the wearing of a tie
- With the exception of warehouse personnel and participants in outdoor
equipment training/operation, jeans are not authorized (Friday is a casual
dress day. When and where appropriate jeans may be worn only if they are
clean, un-torn and fitted to the waist).
- Undershirts are not authorized as outerwear. While a t-shirt with a pocket
may be suitable for some outdoor or warehouse work, a collared shirt or polo
type shirt is preferred
- Jackets/coats displaying advertisements, messages, or writing are not
authorized
- Casual shoes (i.e. boat shoes, loafers, etc.) are not prohibited, however,
we ask that our male guest wear socks
- Shorts and/or leggings are not authorized. For ladies, Capri and or
palazzo (gaucho) type pants must cover the knee
- Ladies attire should cover midriffs, shoulders and backs (halter tops and
spaghetti straps are not authorized), as much as feasible skirts should
conform to military standard of one inch above/below the center of the knee.
For security and safety reasons we must also ask our visitors and guests to
adhere to the following:
- Badges must be worn above the waist in the area of the chest at all times
- Hats are not to be worn inside buildings
- Hoodies, sweatshirts, etc. are not allowable over garments for business
attire
- Flip flops or pool shoes are strictly prohibited
- Open toe shoes of any kind are not allowed in the warehouse (Bay 4)
- Sports shoes are not allowed
